Application Specific Integrated Circuit is an IC used for particular use. With the changing technological environment, complexity of the chip designs has increased. In chip designing the maximum time is invested for verification process and it has to be performed at every step of designing a chip. Designers of digital ASICs often use a hardware description language (HDL), such as Verilog or VHDL or hardware verification language such as System Verilog to describe the functionality of ASICs. To bring automation to the SystemVerilog, UVM is used. This course will help the student to acquire required skill set needed for the industry.
