The voltage is plotted on x-axis and current is plotted on the y-axis.

The VI characteristic of the given resistor is plotted below.

The slope of the line gives the value of the resistance(R).

Slope of line PR = frac{1}{R} = frac{PQ}{QR}

R = frac{6.8}{2}

R = 3.4 Omega

Hence, the resistance of the resistor is 3.4 Ω
