(a) Different types of material are used as packaging material. For example, jute or cotton is used to make bags for carrying vegetables, fruits, or groceries. Plastic bags are used to carry eatables, clothes, etc. Paper is commonly used to make paper bags, card boxes, and wrapping items.

(b) We should avoid using plastic for packaging food because plastic is not good for health.

(c) Packaging materials are commonly used to make the gift presentable. But it is not good for the environment. The shiny plastic-coated packaging material is non-recycled and can damage the environment. Similarly, plastic bags are also non-biodegradable and can increase the percentage of garbage. Plastic is harmful and can affect our health. That is why it is advisable to not use plastic material for packaging food items. The plastic bags thrown on roads get into the drain and can block the drains and sewer system. The burning of of plastic releases harmful gases which can cause health problems.
