List the differences between clayey soil and sandy soil.

Answer:

Sandy soil: Sandy soil contains a greater proportion of large particles with large spaces. It contains very little humus and they are less fertile. It has a low water retention capacity and the highest percolation rate of water.

Clayey soil: Clayey soil contains very small particles with very little space. Clayey soil also contains very little humus and they are more fertile than sandy soil.  It has a high water retention capacity and the lowest percolation rate of water.
