Explain why chloroplasts are found only in plant cells?


The plant cells contain chloroplasts because the chloroplast contains chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is a green-colored pigment that helps in the process of photosynthesis by trapping the sunlight. Without chlorophyll, the plant will not able to prepare food for itself.
