Explain how you can locate the Pole Star with the help of Ursa Major.


During summer in the early part of the night we see Ursa Major. It is also known as the Big Dipper, the Great Bear or the Saptarshi. It is located near the Pole star. There are two stars at the end of Ursa Major, If we draw a straight line passing through these stars and extend this line towards the north direction there is the pole star.
