5 Important Things to Keep in Mind While Preparing for Any Exam

An examination is an integral part of our educational journey. Every student wants to score high, for that you need to practice and study thoroughly. To score well you need to prepare well as your marks are a reflection of your preparation. So, preparation is key but the issue is not everyone is good in preparation and a lot of students wish that they had a guide for exam preparation tips.

Well, you have come to the right place. We have selected 5 important things for a student to keep in mind while preparing for their exams.

Build your Method: We all are different from each other. Something that works for your friends doesn’t mean it will work for you like I can’t study late it just doesn’t come to me naturally and that is the thing you need to create a method which suit you, see there is no right or wrong way of studying; just find your sweet spot which will provide you with the effective results.

Divide and Rule: I’m asking you to divide your day, create a timetable on an hourly basis and make sure to follow it. This is a very effective technique as it will keep you on your toes, you will always be certain what and when you need to study. Breaking up your day into sections gives you the window to ensure that you get 8 hours of sleep and 10 hours of study time.

Solve Practice Paper: Practice paper is a great tool for preparing and scoring students to prepare and score high numbers. Practice papers help you better understand where do you stand in your preparation. They are very handy for regular studies and to test yourself. Also, by solving the practice paper you can better understand the pattern of the exam as most of the practice papers are set similar to the exam pattern. The last key benefit is finding your strong and weak topics and preparing to keep that in your mind.

Eat well: The food you consume can have a huge impact on your concentration and focus level. This is essential to remember when you’re probably paying more attention to books than breakfast during the exam period. The brain is like a computer, it runs millions of processes every day and to do that it needs constant topping up with fuel which in our case is food. Some healthy brain food includes eggs, nuts, seeds that are high in protein oily fish, flax seeds consisting of Omega 3. All these are great for memory building.

Study Smart:Study smart not Study hard” All of us have heard that saying and in a way it is true. You must have a friend who just studies for an hour and still ace the exams and you think to yourself I sat for 5 hours but did you study for 5 hours. A lot of students make this mistake where they think time is equivalent to learning. Instead, you could have watched interactive videos and could have learned that same concept in 10 mins. Aim for smart study.

Well, that’s it, guys! You all are set for your exam.

The whole team of EduSaksham wishes you all the very best for the upcoming exams. We are always available and ready to assist you at every step of the way.
