Common Admission Test (CAT) is the premier all India competitive management entrance exam conducted at national level by IIMs for admission to Postgraduate Business Administration Programme and other programs in various IITs, IIMs, NITs and other private management institutions accepting CAT. The CAT score is used separately by each institute along with other parameters i.e. academic performance, work experience, group discussion, written assessment and interview performance etc. to select candidates. The CAT 2017 syllabus has three sections namely
1. Quantitative Aptitude,
2. Verbal Reasoning and
3. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning.
