How Do Organisms Reproduce?

How does reproduction help in providing stability to populations of species?

The production of new organisms from the existing organisms of the same species is known as reproduction. Reproduction is essential for the continuation of a species generation after generation and also to maintain the life and death rate. It helps to create the variation in the population that is the basis of evolution. Variation is important for the survival of species. It helps organisms to adapt to their environment. For example: Due to global warming if the temperature of water increases then most of the bacteria growing in the water die. But few bacteria become resistant to heat and survive in hot water and they grow further.
