There are certain types of animals that eat plants. Such animals are called herbivores. These animals are the food for carnivorous animals. In this way, the animal in a forest contributes to completing a food web. The animals plays important role in the dispersal of seeds from one plant to another. Their excreta and decomposed dead bodies function as manure for the plants in the forest.
